Basketball

Basketball provides accessibility and affordability to all athletes, and recently Kingston has emerged as a hot bed for local basketball talent. Kingston is home to numerous courts and gymnasiums throughout the city. Youth programs in the city, such as the Kingston Impact Basketball Club and Guardsmen Basketball Club host tournaments annually that draw large numbers of participants and teams. In 2009 the Kingston Impact hosted the Midget Girls Ontario Provincial Championships and in 2010, Kingston will be the proud host of the OFSSAA 'AAA' Boys Provincial Championships. Both of these events will allow for Kingston to showcase its facilities and amenities at the provincial level. With over 15 gymnasiums available to host an event in the Kingston-area, nearby accommodations and a great geographic location, Kingston is an exceptional place to host your next tournament or event.
