Football
Kingston is a strong football community. Kingston is renowned for its excellent high school football programs, with several winning at the regional and provincial levels. Several of these players get their start in the O.P.P. Minor Football Association, which gives youths a chance to play football before they move onto high school level. There is also the Limestone District Grenadiers which allows for players to compete in the Ontario Varsity Football League and compete at the provincial level. Kingston has sent several players onto successful university and professional football careers. Kingston has a long history, great support and the facilities necessary to host great football events.
