Triathlon

Kingston has a strong history in triathlon. Kingston is the hometown of Simon Whitfield, Canadian Olympic Gold medalist at the 2000 Olympic Summer Games in Sydney, Australia. Kingston is also home to annual events such as the K-Town Triathlon, Limestone City Triathlon and Kids of Steel Triathlon, all which draw hundreds of competitors swimming, biking, and running their way around Kingston. With help from local sponsors and corporate partners these events grow in popularity and size each year.
