For those who prefer the wonderful world of vegetables, we hope that you enjoy Kingston's culinary offerings.  As we're surrounded by bountiful farmlands, seasonal produce brings out the best in our talented chefs.  While a few restaurants are strictly vegetarian/vegan only, most establishments in the city do cater to vegetarian preferences and offer a selection for you to choose from on their menus.

While you're visiting, don't forget to stop by the Kingston Farmers' Market which is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout most of the year.  Located in historic Springer Market Square, and the oldest operating outdoor farmers' market in Canada offers a chance for you to meet with our local growers and enjoy fresh produce right from the field.
